Get Your Ashes Made Into A Vinyl Record When You Die
If you’ve always dreamed about having your own record, now you can actually be a record. UK artist Jason Leach’s company And Vinyly will press the cremated ashes of you or your loved ones into a vinyl record.
Leach says, “Personally, I would love to own a record of my great great grandfather for example on which I can listen to his voice, hear what he liked and the music and places that meant a lot to him. To hear the actual sound of someone’s voice exactly as they sounded, vibrating the air in my room, speaking of things that meant a lot to them all that time ago is profound and exciting to me. I love the idea of my future generations being able to fill their room with my voice in 200 years time by running a needle through the spiral groove of a record which I made for them from me.”
How much does something like this cost? About $3750 for 30 discs.
“When the album that is life finally reaches the end wouldn’t it be nice to keep that record spinning for eternity? Offers you the chance to press your cremated ashes into a vinyl recording your loved ones can cherish for years to come.
